Margaret River, WA
Full of juicy plum and muscatel sweetness, this wine is enjoyed by many slightly chilled. Silky smooth and supple texture, only available here and cellar door.
Nose: Lifted with spiciness and verve jumping out of the glass. The Petit Verdot gives this wine some delightful violet and lilac notes, dark cherries abound and sage provides a delightful herbal note. The Merlot adds to the cherry and vibrancy on the nose.
Palate: Soft, round, yet vibrant characters abound. Raspberry, plum, dark cherries, dark chocolate are balanced with hints of dustiness and a sprinkling of white pepper on the finish.
Pairing: A fire place and dark chocolate mousse or a platter of cheese!
Winemaking: French oak maturation has softened the tannins in this wine, and lessened its astringency. Short to medium term cellaring will further add to this wines appeal. Perfect match with blue cheese or dark chocolate, or simply enjoy on its own slightly chilled.
