Name and role at Lenton Brae?
Mark  Barrett-Lennard, ‘assistant’ everything in the vineyard and winery.

How long have you worked at Lenton Brae?
I've just joined the team.

What do you enjoy about your job? (assuming you do of course!)
Being able to see and be a part of everything, from the vineyard to the bottle. There is great variety in this job.

Do you have a favourite Lenton Brae wine?
Currently, the 2004 Cabernet Sauvignon.

What do you do when you’re not at Lenton Brae?
Spend time with my wife and young boys, and try to get used to the southwest after city living.

Within your role at Lenton Brae, what are you plans for the medium to long term?
Learn as much as I can from those who’ve been here a while, and hopefully develop my winemaking skills.

Best (non-wine) attribute of the  Margaret River wine region?
Right now, the lack of traffic lights.

Favourite destination?
West coast Canada, or somewhere with a big cover of snow.

Best wine moment?
Any time that warranted a glass of fine champagne.

If you were a wine, what would you be?
I’d like to suggest something red, refined, age-worthy, and stylish, but I suspect I’m more simple and unsophisticated than that. Maybe with time I’ll get there!
